Dear Eligians, dear friends,
As we now approach the end of March, this is an ideal opportunity to catch a quick breather and share with you once again a few thoughts on the “State of the Game”.
Firstly, I’d like to thank each one of you for your continued support, your constructive feedback, your bug reports, many suggestions, your passion, enthusiasm and involvement. Together, we are currently waging a valiant and victorious battle against the numerous gold spammers and bot herders who have invaded our shores. Over the past weeks, with your help, we have successfully banished hundreds of these fraudulent accounts. We are nevertheless aware that the war has not yet been won, but with the combined forces of your eagle eyes, the vigilance of the Council of Legates, the firepower of our Support team and a new method we’re currently working on to block these persona non grata at login, we are optimistic that our struggle against these foul creatures will be as successful as your crusades against the daemonic armies that plague Galgaron ...
