Friends, Eligians, countrymen, lend me your ears!

With February well on its way, I wanted to share a few thoughts with the Eligium community. But, first things first, it would be unthinkable of me not to take the time to thank each and every one of the testers who participated in the Closed Beta phase. We owe those fierce defenders of Sanctia and Honorhold a great debt of gratitude.

As many of you now know, we are more than halfway through the planned break between Closed and Open Beta, and we are putting this time to good use. Many reasons underlie our decision to take this break, namely a need to fine-tune and test our log-in systems and security measures, the optimization of our hardware following the CBT in order to provide a better performance in the OBT, and the fact that our Brand Manager got lost in the jungle. Don’t worry, he was a little ill and his hair still has bits of moss stuck in it, but he survived the ordeal quite well. Next year, we’re sending him to Greenland.

Just kidding. It’ll be Antarctica.
