A bone-chilling wind blows across the plains, leaving desolation and ice in its wake. The howl of gales fills the cloudless nights as ghostly lights shimmer ominously in the cosmic gloom. Far in the East, a deep, beastly murmur grows in intensity. But in the West, despite the bitterness of the gelid winter, there emerges warmth greater than any ice-bitten sorrow, jollity fiercer than any snow-blinding blizzard, and glee stronger than any tempest-blown despair.
Winter is upon us, dear friends. Whether you are sheltering from the snowstorms and tree-splitting weather of the far north or merely shunning the cold winds and rain clouds further south, we welcome you to Eligium’s winter celebration. It is a time for togetherness and fellowship, the season for friends and family, and an occasion for laughter and merriment.
During these darkest days of the calendar, we invite you to join the Eligium community on the forums, our Facebook page and the website as we eagerly await the launch of the closed beta phase and ready ourselves to “stamus contra malum”, to stand against evil.
